WATSON attends the final Transnational Project Meeting of Foster-xR

The coordinator of WATSON, University College Dublin (UCD), hosted the final transnational meeting of the Foster-xR project on August 1st-2nd, 2023, in Dublin (Ireland).

This event brought together experts to discuss the advancements and future directions of augmented and extended reality technologies for food industry training.

In addition, Dr. Dimitrios Argyropoulos (UCD) had the pleasure of welcoming Vasilis Valdramidis, Associate Professor of Food Chemistry at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, and the coordinator of EXCEL4MED (another Horizon Europe-funded project). The presence of both projects added significant value to the discussions and collaborations at the meeting.

Building synergies

During the event, Dr. Argyropoulos took the opportunity to promote WATSON, showcasing our innovative approaches and contributions to enhancing transparency and integrity within the food supply chain. The discussions emphasised the synergy between WATSON and Foster-xR in leveraging advanced technologies to improve food industry practices.
