About Patras IQ

Patras IQ is a collaborative initiative involving two Greek Ministries, the Regional Authority of Western Greece, the Achaia Chamber of Commerce, and three universities (University of Patras, Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece, and Hellenic Open University).

This annual event spans three days, bringing together researchers, the productive sector and investors to showcase mature research results and explore entrepreneurial and commercial opportunities.

The event aimed to familiarise both researchers and the productive sector with knowledge management processes, the exploitation of innovative ideas, and the conditions for building networks and clusters. It also highlighted achieving cross-sector collaborations and exploring alternative ways of financing innovation.

Our participation in Patras IQ 2023 underscored WATSON’s significant contributions to innovation in the food supply chain. This event provided a platform for showcasing research results, fostering collaborations and exploring new avenues for financing innovation.
