WATSON attends the conference “Is EU Trade Policy Compatible with the Green Deal?”

On March 15th, 2024, the WATSON project was prominently featured at the conference titled “Is EU Trade Policy Compatible with the Green Deal?” in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Organised by our partner, the Slovenian Consumers’ Association (ZPS), in collaboration with the European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) and the European Commission Representation in The Republic of Slovenia, the event took place at the European Union House.

About the conference

This conference served as a vital platform to discuss the intersection of EU trade policies and the Green Deal, attracting a diverse audience that included representatives from various ministries, journalists, and key stakeholders. During the event, ZPS effectively showcased WATSON, highlighting its relevance to ongoing discussions about sustainable trade practices and consumer protection.

In addition to the presentation, WATSON promotional materials distributed to all attendees, ensuring that the project’s innovative approach to food safety and fraud prevention reached a broad audience of policymakers and media professionals.
