WATSON holds the workshop “Olive Oil Supply Chain Vulnerability”

On Saturday, November 25th, 2023, the WATSON project held a workshop titled “Olive Oil Supply Chain Vulnerability Assessment” during InnoDays 2023, held in Crete (Greece).

This workshop was organised by our partner BioCoS in collaboration with our project coordinator, University College Dublin.

About the workshop

This workshop provided an excellent platform to deepen our knowledge of the olive oil supply chain’s vulnerabilities. Experts from both the industry and the scientific community shared their insights, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in enhancing the supply chain’s integrity. 

The workshop featured presentations and discussions led by renowned experts in the field. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest research, technological advancements and practical solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities in the olive oil supply chain. 



The “Olive Oil Supply Chain Vulnerability Assessment” workshop at InnoDays 2023 highlighted the WATSON project’s commitment to enhancing food safety and preventing fraud.
